We are a small "cattery" that was started
out of sheer love for cats. I have spent the
last several years devoting all of my extra
time, energy and money volunteering for
no-kill cat shelters. Fostering and taming
feral cats, bottle feeding orphaned kittens,
harboring pregnant or nursing mothers
and caring for special needs cats is hard
work, but has proven to be a very
rewarding hobby.
The honest truth of the matter is......there is
not a single thing that I can think of that I
would rather do with my time, than take
care of cats. I love them with my whole
heart and because I do not have children,
these cats ARE my kids and are spoiled
rotten! Although they breed, these cats are
my babies first and foremost.
Our goal is simply to produce beautiful,
loving, healthy kittens, with fantastic
temperaments that we are certain will not
only bring joy to their new families, but
also enrich our lives in the process! Our
cats are all raised in our home and sleep
under the covers with us in our bed at
night. They are quite literally, my
children and my family. They are never
caged and are well socialized from a young
age with other cats and dogs. They are not
timid, but rather extremely affectionate,
they know our voices and come tumbling
from the bed and run to us at a very young
age because we spend lots of time with
them and give them lots of kisses and tons
of attention every day.
The Sphynx is without a doubt the coolest
breed of cat I have ever encountered. They
are completely different in personality
from any other breed of cat....Sphynx are
so intelligent, so affectionate, so
human-like that I couldn't stop at having
just one. Sphynx quickly became an
obsession for me and from there, breeding
them just felt right. Even people who think
they are funny looking in the beginning are
quickly won over by their charming
personalities and human-like
characteristics. Some say they are a lot
like dogs and while I see the similarities
that they're referring to, I think they're
more like babies... except more self
sufficient, lol :)
